Plainview native Maxwell Jacob Friedman was inducted into the National Jewish Hall of Fame Monday in Commack.

The AEW heavyweight champion says that his heritage is extremely important to him and that the honor was very special to him.

“This is one of the greatest days of my life – genuinely, I feel fully honored, I feel full seen,” Friedman says.

Friedman, also known as MJF by his fans, is the second professional wrestler in the Jewish Hall of Fame.
