Huntington thrift shop celebrates National Thrift Shop Day with handmade bracelets for hospice care

The shop was founded by three young girls - Maddie Drago and sisters Charlotte and Cammy Titus - to support a hospice care, give back to the community and spread peace.

“Bracelets for a cause to support Hospice House” made its debut Friday at the Community Thrift Shop in Huntington.

The shop was founded by three young girls - Maddie Drago and sisters Charlotte and Cammy Titus - to support a hospice care, give back to the community and spread peace.

Proceeds go to Visiting Nurse Services & Hospice of Suffolk.

National Thrift Shop Day will be held Sunday, Aug. 17.

Although the shop is usually closed, it will be open for the occasion.
