Hundreds of Long Island elementary school students remembered the fallen victims of 9/11.

A memorial ceremony was held today at the Parkway Elementary School in Plainview.

Students in grades one through four placed American flags around the school's flagpole in memory of the 12-year anniversary.

They kids were joined by police officers, volunteer firefighters and veterans from World War II, the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
