Pizza Hut to permanently close up to 300 restaurants due to financial impact of coronavirus

Pizza Hut says it will permanently close up to 300 restaurants due to the financial impact of coronavirus.
The pizza chain reached an agreement with its largest U.S. franchisee, NPC International, Inc., to permanently close the locations. NPC International, Inc.'s decision to close restaurants comes after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy back in July.
The company hasn't released a list of which locations will close. According to the company, most will be dine-in restaurants.
There are a total of 6,700 Pizza Hut restaurants nationwide.
