A 6-year-old girl was hospitalized after her family says they found a pill in her Burger King macaroni and cheese. The girl's family says they purchased the meal at the drive-through of the West Merrick Road restaurant in Valley Stream Thursday night. The girl's grandfather says his granddaughter was eating the macaroni and cheese on the way home when she said something was "disgusting." The girl's mother says she found a pill the size of a dime at the bottom of the bowl.Burger King released a statement saying it was looking into the incident and has pulled the item at the location while it investigates.The girl was taken to Winthrop University Hospital and is expected to be OK.
