Police say a pedestrian has died following a crash in East Garden City.
According to police, Cristobal Mendoza-Perez, 59, of Uniondale, was trying to cross Stewart Avenue when he was hit by a Jeep Wrangler.
The incident happened at Stewart Avenue near Quentin Roosevelt Boulevard.
The driver is not facing charges.
