A pedestrian was hit and killed by an SUV while crossing the street early Saturday morning.

Police say Jorge Flores, 44, was crossing Suffolk Avenue near Grant Avenue just before 1 a.m., when he was hit by an SUV.

The man was rushed to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver stayed at the scene and no charges have been filed.
