This week on Paws & Pals, Tyler, of Jungle Bob's Reptile World, is talking about turtles and tortoises and how to care for them.
The red-eared slider is the most popular breed of turtle, but many of them aren't taken care of properly. Tyler says the store adopts about 40 to 50 of them a year.
The main difference between turtles and tortoises is that tortoises are a land-based animal, while turtles are semi-aquatic. Tortoises are cleaner and easier to handle.
