This week on Paws & Pals, the Sweet Briar Nature Center visited the News 12 studio to talk about wild owls on Long Island.
The organization brought in a barn owl named Nebula, who was used in a sport called falconry before she was donated to the center to be an ambassador.
They also brought in a great horned owl named Tigerlily, who has laid an egg! She was found by the side of the road and is believed to have been hit by a car, which limits her flight.
