In this week's Paws & Pals, the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter presented three dogs looking for their 'furever' homes.
Beyonce is an adorable new Dobie mix, who came to the shelter as a stray in June. She came in with her friend Jay Z. She is about 3 years old and sweet as pie. She loves attention and affection and just wants to cuddle with you all day long. She is a friendly, calm dog who loves treats and knows how to sit for them. She is interested in meeting other dogs, but doesn't get playful. Beyonce's ideal home would be a calm environment with children 15 and older.
Jay Z is Dobie mix. He is about 3 years old and just arrived at the shelter as a stray with Beyonce. He is shy, sweet and playful. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but after that he is looking for love and attention. Jay Z is interested in meeting other dogs, but isn't overly playful at the shelter. Jay Z's ideal home would be a calm home with kids 15 and older.
George is an extremely adorable 2-year-old boy, who looks like an overgrown puppy. George came to the shelter as a stray after being found on the street completely terrified. He really enjoys the company of other dogs, and actually does the most adorable low, tail wag when he sees a dog.
