In this week's Paws & Pals, Southampton Animal Shelter presented four pets looking for their 'furever' homes.
Introducing Franklin: This sweet 3-year-old Poodle mix has sadly had a tough life. He was hit by a car and suffered an injury to his right hind leg and had to get surgery. Franklin doesn’t let it slow him down, and he has a bright and peppy personality. He would do best in a quiet home with children 14 and older where he can be the only dog.
Molly is Lab Retriever Hound mix. This sweet 6-year-old was rescued from a southern shelter. She was likely kept as an outside dog and sadly tested positive for heartworm. She is being treated and treatments will be at no cost to her adopter. Molly loves people and enjoys going on walks. She is working on her leash manners and basic commands. Molly would do best as the only dog in the home for right now to ensure she is calm and comfortable until she's fully recovered.
Karma is a 6-year-old Border Collie mix. She is 40 pounds of mostly floof! Karma is good on leash and enjoys taking long walks. She loves attention and playing with tons of toys! She would be best in a calm home. She also gets along with cats.
Handsome Izzy was found outside and needed some serious TLC. This affectionate boy is a one year old domestic shorthair. Izzy recently had a tail amputation and hernia repair surgery. He’s all healed up and hopes to find a loving home.
