It's been almost a year since Sachem East High School football player Josh Mileto died.
Josh was crushed when he and some teammates dropped a log they were carrying as part of an training exercise during a team camp.
His parents are breaking their silence about the son they lost.
Sayyida and Angelo Mileto hold hands while remembering their 16-year old son who died while being a football player, but to them he was so much more. Josh was the second of their four children and the one they say put family first.
Sayyida says she tries to focus on the good memories of Josh, while Angelo finds private moments to grieve.  Sometimes he goes to the cemetery where Josh is buried and touches the ground as if he is hugging Josh and at home.

The Miletos say the public support they've gotten in Farmingville has helped too.  Sayyida says she's even gotten hugs from random people.
Next Friday, the Miletos are inviting people to a celebration of Josh's life.  They said they want people to remember their son with smiles and laughs.
The Miletos have filed a $15 million negligence lawsuit against the Sachem School District and the Sachem East Touchdown Club.
Their attorneys advised them not to discuss the lawsuit with News 12 because it is ongoing.
