A Long Island mother who lost her son in the Parkland school shooting will be at Tuesday's State of the Union.
Rep. Tom Suozzi says Linda Beigel Schulman will be his guest.
Suozzi says she will join him to highlight the Senate's inaction to combat gun violence.
Schulman's son, Dix Hills native Scott Beigel, was shot and killed nearly two years ago while protecting his students from a mass shooter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
