An online threat has shut down a Nassau school this morning.

The Massapequa School District posted an alert message about a threat on social media targeting Berner Middle School.

Details about the threat have not been released, but police and Homeland Security have been notified.

School officials have moved students and teachers to full distance and remote learning for today.
