"Where's the beef?" One in five Wendy's locations is now completely out of beef.
The announcement comes as the nation faces a meat shortage because of the coronavirus pandemic.
About 1,000 of the chain's 5,500 United States locations are no longer serving beef-based burgers.
The reason for the meat shortage is that many suppliers have temporarily shut factories due to employees contracting coronavirus.
