The incident happened just before 1 p.m. at the 110 Sand Company located at 136 Spagnoli Road, west of Route 110.
Multiple departments responded to the scene at 12:50 p.m.
The fire caused the tanker to burst.
There are reports the smoke can be seen for miles.
No injuries have been reported.
