Authorities say the wintry weather has claimed the life of a man in Suffolk County.
Officials say the lifeless body of a man was found frozen in a sump at around 4 p.m. Saturday. Authorities at the scene told News 12 that the man is believed to have been homeless.
The grisly discovery was made along Patchogue-Yaphank Road in Medford.
The victim's identity is not yet known, and it remains unclear how the remains were discovered.
