2h agoA fire broke out on a barge launching fireworks in front of Point O' Woods on Fire Island Sunday night, fire officials say.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out just before 10 p.m.
The Point O' Woods Fire Company responded with assistance from the Ocean Bay Park and Ocean Beach fire departments, Suffolk County Marine Bureau, the Coast Guard and a fire boat from the Bay Shore Fire Department.
The fire was brought under control quickly and no one was injured.
