Officials: Fentanyl surpasses heroin as deadliest drug on LI
Fentanyl has now surpassed heroin as the deadliest drug in Nassau and Suffolk counties, according to medical examiners. The synthetic opioid can be 100 times more potent than morphine, officials say.
