A house fire Saturday in Elmont left one child and two adults displaced.

Officials say the flames spread from the first floor to the second of the building on Hommel Street.

Around 35 firefighters responded to the scene around 1:40 p.m. No injuries were reported.

The cause remains under investigation. However, officials say it does not appear suspicious.
