Two men waived extradition Thursday and returned to New York after police arrested the third and final suspect in the shooting of two New York City police officers earlier in the day.
The manhunt for Robert Ellis by Pennsylvania State Police and U.S. Marshals ended Thursday after a bloodhound picked up his trail in a wooded area of the Poconos. Authorities say Ellis seemed to have buried himself in the woods.

Ellis and another suspect, Dexter Bostic, were spotted together Wednesday walking along a rural section of Interstate 80. Police say Bostic was captured after a chase, but Ellis managed to run away. Both men were being held at a jail in Swiftwater, Pa.
Bostic and Ellis were in their hearing for six minutes before waiving extradition. Police took them into separate cars and headed back to New York, where they are being held at the 71st Precinct.
A third suspect arrested in the shootings, Lee Woods, has been ordered held without bail in New York.
One of the officers shot Monday during a traffic stop in Brooklyn, Russel Timoshenko, is paralyzed. He's suffering brain swelling and can't breathe on his own. The other officer, Herman Yan, suffered lesser injuries and was released from the hospital.
