Investigators with the New York Attorney General's Office said Friday they want a Saugerties officer terminated after a pattern of inappropriate behavior.

A new report lists the complaints against Officer Dion Johnson.

His coworkers and a member of the public accuses Johnson of harassment and sexual assault.

Investigators reviewed policies and files from both the Saugerties and Albany Police departments.

In one 2020 complaint, an officer accused Johnson of sending her inappropriate messages and pictures, and even sexually touching her.

The report also finds a civilian alleges similar actions while Johnson was on duty.

The attorney general recommends the Saugerties Police Department to terminate him for his pattern of inappropriate behavior.
