Two north shore companies are teaming up to keep medical workers safe as coronavirus cases spike.
BTZ MedSolution partnered with Konye Medical Supplies Incorporated to donate 100,000 masks to Cohen Children's Hospital.
Congressman Tom Suozzi said with new cases on the rise across the island, it's more important now than ever to equip medical workers with protective gear.
"The more careful we are with mask wearing, with washing our hands, with watching where we stand, the more likely we can stay safe during this time," Suozzi said Monday.
Suozzi also presented the CEOs of both companies with plaques for their generosity.
