The North Shore Animal League was offering a deal of its own for Black Friday: free adoptions of cats and dogs.
The shelter offered more than 500 rescued puppies and kittens with no adoption or application fees Friday morning.
The shelter told News 12 that anyone interested had to get to the North Shore Animal League on Davis Avenue in Port Washington between 9 a.m. and noon.
A new batch of puppies that was recently rescued will be available for adoption on Saturday.
