A North Bellmore man was convicted Tuesday of stabbing a stranger following a Saint Patrick's Day bar crawl event in Farmingdale.
A jury found Martin Carpio guilty of assault.
Prosecutors say Carpio stabbed a 21-year-old in the chest twice in March 2023, nearly killing him.
He faces up to 25 years in prison.
Carpio will be sentenced on Aug. 9.
