10h agoA North Amityville man is seriously injured this morning after his friend attacked him with a knife.
Angelo Andrade, 49, of West Babylon, slashed the victim inside his home, Suffolk police say.
The attack happened Sunday afternoon on Jefferson Avenue.
Andrade also threatened another resident before taking off, according to police.
The 45-year-old victim was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Andrade is facing assault and menacing charges.
