A man who spent more than four decades in prison for murder has filed a wrongful conviction lawsuit against Suffolk County, according to Newsday.
Keith Bush claims he was falsely arrested and maliciously prosecuted. He was exonerated in May for the 1975 murder and attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl from North Bellport.
A News 12-Newsday special report revealed police had a second possible suspect, whose plastic comb was found at the scene.
The lawsuit didn't specify an amount, but experts told Newsday Bush could receive $30 million or more in compensation.
