News 12 and Bethpage Federal Credit Union have revealed recipients of the Bob Wolff Memorial Scholarships.

The scholarship is named after its creator, News 12 ‘s first sports director.

One recipient was Julia Froese from Wantagh, a cross country captain, girl scout, singer and president of the music honors society.

Another winner was Ryan Mastroapolo, an Island Trees high school football player, wrestler and chess team member.

Both students earned the scholarship through their hard work navigating school during the pandemic and earning GPAs in the high 90s.

Froese is attending North Carolina University and Mastroapolo will attend and wrestle at Sacred Heart in Connecticut.
