New Yorkers to face busy travels, possible storms for Thanksgiving

According to AAA, over 55 million people are expected to travel over the Thanksgiving weekend, more than 2% higher than in 2022.

New Yorkers who are out of the kitchen and in the airport for Thanksgiving this year will face lots of busy terminals and some stormy weather.  
According to AAA, over 55 million people are expected to travel over the Thanksgiving weekend, more than 2% higher than in 2022 and the third-largest Thanksgiving travel day since 2000.  
News 12’s Shniece Archer spoke with travelers about how they’re beating the holiday rush and getting ready for their Thanksgiving trips.
