The New York Blood Center says it's in urgent need of blood because the number of blood drives has dropped by two-thirds this year due to the pandemic.

The New York Blood Center says it's in urgent need of blood because the number of blood drives has dropped by two-thirds this year due to the pandemic.
Normally, 75% of blood donations come from mobile blood drives hosted by schools and businesses. A blood drive was held at East Meadow High School Friday.
