The New York Best Wings Festival was held this weekend at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury.

More than 7,000 people had the chance to enjoy the outdoors and the taste of chicken wings as vendors from all over the nation showcased their succulent recipes. Eating competitions were also held for those of all ages.

Judges say that Cinnamon Toast Crunch, blueberry barbecue and Cheetos were among this year's creative entries.

Festival organizers say that some of the funds raised will go to local charities.
