After months of building, the new Target store on Hutchinson River Parkway and Lafayette Avenue has officially opened for business.
The new Target is the third to open in the Bronx, and will have plenty of items for shoppers to choose from.
The store has dozens of aisles filled with food, clothing, electronics, home goods and more.
The creation of the Target has given residents another retail option as well has created hundreds of job opportunities.
A store team leader tells News 12 The Bronx that a full staff at the store can range from 350 to 400 employees.
Target has recently been developing a new mobile app that will make shopping even more convenient. The new app will allow users to add items to their online shopping carts simply by scanning through home décor magazines and taking photos of items they want to purchase
