The Long Island Rail Road is running on a normal weekday schedule, but new time tables take effect today on all branches.
Changes are being made to minimize the impact on rush-hour commuters and for improvement projects like the third rail project between Floral Park and Hicksville.
Riders will see changes on weekend, overnight and some midday trains.
