Astronomical summer arrives at 10:42 p.m. and finally, Mother Nature is onboard!
Not as humid today. Yet, it is still Friday with temperatures in the upper 80s. We are not expecting rain until next week but there is the slight chance of a shower/thunderstorm crossing in the northwestern parts of the state later tonight.
The first heat wave of the season is expected to begin Sunday and carry into next week with temperatures in the 90s. The hottest day is predicted to be Tuesday with a high in the triple digits.
This weekend will have sun and clouds with an overcast developing overnight on Monday into Tuesday ahead of the next weather system expected to deliver rain for the midweek next week.
