Social media and high-tech tools have changed the scape of modern day elections.
A study from the Pew Research Center showed more than twice as many people are following Election Day candidates on social media during this midterm election as they were 4 years ago.
Finding information about who's on the ballot is also much easier to find. There are numerous websites like BallotPedia and the county's Board of Election websites that can help.
Suspected voter fraud can also be reported through Common Cause and the New York Civil Liberties Union's PollWatch mobile website.
