New charges for convicted sex offender

A convicted sex offender from Oceanside has been accused of sexually abusing two new victims.
Back in December, level three sex offender Robert Musmacker was pulled over on the Southern State Parkway with a 16-year-old boy in the car. Investigators say they have now learned Musmacker and the teenager have engaged in sexual relations.
Musmacker has been arrested and charged with a criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child. Additionally charges may be pending for a second alleged male victim.
The 36-year-old sex offender was convicted of sodomizing an 11-year-old girl in the 90s.
Musmacker is expected to be arraigned Thursday in Riverhead.
