Police: Possible human remains discovered at construction site at Eagle Rock Apartments in Woodbury

According to police, officers received a 911 call for possible human remains at a construction site on Fairhaven Boulevard around 4 p.m. Monday.

Police say possible human remains were found at the Eagle Rock Apartments in Woodbury on Monday.
According to police, officers received a 911 call for possible human remains at a construction site on Fairhaven Boulevard around 4 p.m.
Upon the officers’ arrival, they noticed skeletal remains while digging in the ground.
Officers and the medical examiner’s office responded to the scene.
The remains were removed from the scene and brought to the medical examiner’s office for further examination.
Neighbors at Eagle Rock Apartments say a pool and gym are currently being built where the discovery was made.
Meanwhile, Eagle Rock Apartments released a statement saying that it was advised by detectives and medical coroner of the following, "bone found was clearly over 100 years old, so, no further investigation is needed."
