Travel woes are continuing for many post-holiday travelers today as Southwest Airlines cancels thousands more flights.
The CEO of Southwest says that the airline was simply not prepared for the mass weather event that occurred over the holiday weekend.
Some 2,800 flights were canceled nationwide on Tuesday.
MacArthur Airport was a veritable ghost town on Wednesday morning, as Southwest is one of the primary carriers at the facility.
The federal government is now planning to investigate the problems Southwest is experiencing.
