The 14th annual Run Around the Lake was held in memory of Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy.
The Patchogue man used to swim across the lake as he trained to become a Navy SEAL.
Murphy died in 2005 saving others during a mission in Afghanistan.
He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
