More than a half a dozen volunteer fire departments in Nassau provided meals to front-line workers.
They personally delivered food to Winthrop Hospital in Mineola Sunday, donated by Angelina's Restaurant in Williston Park.
The fire departments also donated $4,000 to TR's Great American Restaurant in Williston Park to provide meals for the hospital staff in the coming weeks.
