Schools across Nassau County were on alert Monday after police received a report of an alleged bomb threat.
Police say they were notified Sunday night that an individual overheard an unidentified male say he "put bombs in every school in Nassau and set them to go off tomorrow."
Authorities say the information was unconfirmed and "unrealistic," but all schools were nonetheless advised to be on alert for suspicious packages or persons.
