Nassau police search for attacker in violent robbery near Hicksville 7-Eleven
According to police, a 31-year-old man was leaving the store when he was approached from behind by an unknown man who struck him in the head with a blunt object.

Nassau County police are searching for someone who attacked and robbed a man early Monday morning in Hicksville.
According to police, a 31-year-old man was leaving 7-Eleven at 11 East Country Rd. at 3:25 a.m. when he was approached from behind by an unknown man who struck him in the head with a blunt object. The man then stole the victim's e-bike and rode it westbound on East Old Country Road.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
