A Nassau police officer was injured Saturday morning trying
to restrain a naked man covered in feces.
Police say the man was running in a roadway in Massapequa
around 11:30 a.m. After he was taken out of the road, he hurt the officer's
shoulder before being taken to a local hospital.
That officer was also treated and released.
The naked man was taken to a hospital. He had been known to
police from prior incidents.
