Nassau police say a man was injured when shots rang out at a large party in Plainview early Sunday morning.

Nassau police say a man was injured when shots rang out at a large party in Plainview early Sunday morning.
They say the shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. in the backyard of a home on Maxine Avenue.
Police say someone fired several shots into the crowd, striking one man in the leg.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and police say they are still searching for the shooter.
