Nassau PD mourns loss of officer who contracted COVID-19
Police say Officer Vroom contracted the virus while he was on duty. He was a part of the Department’s 3rd Precinct for 17 years.

257ds agoThe Nassau County Police Department announced the loss of Officer Charles “Chuck” Vroom, who died due to complications caused by COVID-19.
Police say Officer Vroom contracted the virus while he was on duty. He was a part of the Department’s 3rd Precinct for 17 years.
The Nassau Police Benevolent Association posted about his death on Twitter.
Officer Vroom is survived by his son Sean. Donations are being accepted to help with funeral costs.
