Four Nassau County police officer helped save a kitten in Franklin Square.
The officers received a call reporting a stray cat spotted at the bottom of a storm drain.
The kitten, now named Scrappy, was rescued and now has a clean bill of health.
Scrappy has been adopted by the niece of the woman who made the call to the police department.
