Authorities say three people, including a minor, have been charged in the armed robbery of a mail carrier in Hempstead.
The Nassau district attorney says the trio approached the USPS worker with a gun in February.
Officials say the suspects took a mail truck key, two other postal keys and other USPS property.
The DA says a similar incident also happened in March in Queens.
All of the suspects have pleaded not guilty.
