Nassau County quarantine rules force tennis players out of US Open
A tennis player and her partner have been dropped from the U.S. Open women's double tournament after she was issued a quarantine notice by Nassau County officials.
Kristina Mladenovic was one of seven players placed under restrictions after contract tracing determined she could have been exposed to COVID-19 by player Benoit Paire, who is the only player to have tested positive.
Her partner would've been Timea Babos.
The U.S. Tennis Association says that players have to abide by local government guidance since players are there.
Mladenovic was previously allowed to compete in the singles tournament.
