There's new help for hundreds of restaurants struggling because of the coronavirus.
On Wednesday, Nassau Executive Laura Curran announced the county’s new Restaurant Recovery Grant Program.
Approximately 300 restaurants will get up to $10,000.
The program is designed to help full-service restaurants during the winter months.
"We're hoping that this can provide a boost during these very difficult months, especially as restaurants cope with New York state's safety mandates, including the latest one the 10 p.m. closure," she says.
Nassau restaurants can begin applying for the grant on Nov. 30 and can expect to receive it by early next year.
