(AP) - Police on Long Island are investigatingeight bias incidents: mail containing images of swastikas.
The envelopes were received Tuesday in the upper middle classcommunities Roslyn, East Hills, Flower Hill and Roslyn Estates.
Each envelope contained a copy of a newspaper article aboutspray painted swastikas, with the word "swastika" highlighted inyellow marker. Two pink swastikas were drawn on the photocopy.
Nassau County Police asked Wednesday that anyone withinformation about the crimes call them at 1-800-244-TIPS. Callswill be kept confidential.
